Getting inspired at the Sustainable Food Place Conference 2023

Last week we were excited to join other Sustainable Food Places from around the UK at St Catherines College, Oxford for the 2023 SFP conference.

Sustainable Food Places is a partnership programme led by the Soil Association, Food Matters and Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming.

With more than 85 members, the SFP network is a fantastic source of knowledge, support and inspiration and so it was great to be able to meet so many other Sustainable Food Place members in person. A mix of talks, workshops and networking opportunities was packed into a busy day, we particularly enjoyed the Dumfries & Galloway and Gloucestershire talk on working with producers.

The event inspiring, and we came away buzzing with ideas and excited for the future.

“When you’re bored of talking about something yourself, other people have only just started listening.” Kath Dalmeny- CEO of Sustain

Thanks to the Sustainable Food Place team for putting on the conference and to St Catherine’s College for hosting and putting on a delicious lunch.
